Moisture Control Unit Paks offer drying applications for a variety of packaging. These Desiccant Unit Paks meet or exceed MIL Spec 3464, Type I & II. A “unit” refers to a Military Specification for packaging. The term unit is a quantity of desiccant, which will adsorb a set percentage of its weight at certain levels of humidity. For example, one unit is approximately equal to one ounce.

These Moisture Control Unit Paks are low-cost, efficient desiccants. The desiccant packets will provide protection from moisture, mildew, mold & corrosion of the contents of a completely sealed container during shipment and storage. The sizes range from very small to very large depending on your needs. These desiccants packets are available in Tyvek, Kraft, or sewn bags. Each substrate will provide different results. When using the correct amount of desiccant, the contents of a sealed container will be in the same state as when it was originally packaged.
