Desiccator Plugs were designed for use in small containers and sealed instruments. They function like a combination of a humidity indicator plug and the service of a humidity control device. As a multifunctional device, they survey both the humidity inside the containers and the desiccant by itself. They are an accurate solution in controlling small container moisture. The original amount of desiccant inside the plug depends on the actual plug size. However, there are a few desiccant indicators that can be refilled by removing the clear end cap.

A multiple spot humidity indicator card can be added to evaluate any changes in relative humidity. The cards will display between 10% and 90% relative humidity (RH). If the interior moisture is controlled, a small sealed container can be protected against internal moisture. The humidity control is more easily monitored and easy to change with simple tools. The Desiccator Plugs are manufactured with durable housings and should withstand normal operating usage.
