Clay (Kraft)

Clay desiccant bags an effective and affordable solution to moisture and humidity control inside of storage and shipping containers. The temperature range is up to120°F for effectively using a Clay Desiccant. Different types of desiccants should be used for temperatures that exceed 120°F. Moisture can possibly be released back into the shipping container if the temperatures exceed 120°F.

Compared to other desiccant, clay is the cheapest option when comparing price per pound. The clay is extremely effective when used with of normal temperatures and standard relative humidity environments. The clay desiccants are made from very small pellets that are gray colored. Due to low impurities inside the Clay Desiccant, be aware not to use packaged products that are incompatible. Clay desiccant can be regenerated and will not deteriorate or be prone to swelling.

Clay Desiccant is best used within the standard operating range to allow for the correct absorbency. This will prolong its continued use.
