Water often condenses on the interior surfaces of shipping containers, causing the phenomenon known as “container rain.” If the moisture within a shipping container is not controlled, corrosion, mildew, and mold may develop. All of these, as well as the moisture itself, can damage the products in the container, increasing the risk of loss.

The solution to this problem is the Cargo DryPak. DryPaks are used to control moisture in many industries and for many different shipping scenarios. It protects all kinds of products from moisture, and works just as well on planes and boats used for cargo transportation as it does on cargo-hauling trucks and trains It can be used to protect everything from agricultural products to metal products to leather goods and more.

The DryPak is specifically engineered for use inside shipping containers. It can absorb up to 100% of its own density in moisture, and controls moisture for over 50 days, keeping products safe and dry. The DryPak is an Earth-friendly product, and can be disposed of conveniently and safely.

The DryPak comes in two sizes and two convenient types: a 500 gram Tyvek bag and a 1500 gram Sewn Cloth bag. The cloth bags utilize tie strings, making it possible to hang the DryPak on the inside of the container.  When a DryPak bag is placed in a container, it removes moisture from the container effectively. It only takes a single DryPak to keep a 20' container dry.
